A little disappointing, we give this document a low rating: (6.8/10). There are excellent tips for creating your Residential Sublet Agreement Form. It's written in standard legalese. And, LawDepot offers good support.

How LawDepot Works

While legal drafting is possibly the most tedious and non-cartoon-like of all professions, it has gotten a big shake-up. All thanks to LawDepot. And, we commend them for that.

The LawDepot website has attractive graphics. It makes filling in a form, to create a legal document, seem like fun. Who would've thought that's even possible? Yet it is!

Yes, as you complete the form, it's simply a matter of choosing the cartoon icons that match your circumstances and entering in some text. Then, LawDepot does the rest, generating a customised legal document for you.

Beside each question, you'll find a succinct explanation of how to answer. The user interface really is beautiful. We give LawDepot full points for that.

Once you have entered all the details, you can see a free preview of the Residential Sublet Agreement Form. This shows how the final document will appear, including the customised details you've entered. Very convenient!

LawDepot Pricing

To download your Residential Sublet Agreement Form, you will need to choose from one of 3 license options. This is where it gets a bit confusing.

The options include:

- a 1 Year Pro Subscription at $4.99/month, prepaid for one year. So that will cost you $59.88 and allows you to create and print as many documents as you need (with tens of common documents to choose from); or

- pay a one-time charge for a single document. You will have the right to make unlimited changes to this document but you'll have to pay if you create any others; or

- a free "Trial Subscription" that lasts for one week. Then, you'll pay $39/month when the free trial ends (after the first week). The site says you can "Cancel anytime - no obligations." However, the reviews we've read online indicate that this is hardly a drama free exercise and many complain about getting charged when they fail to cancel in time.

Let's say you plan to sign up to the Free Trial. You simply want to evaluate a document. And, you don't want to spend anything.

Then, you should be very careful to cancel before LawDepot charges your card. Under the Terms of Use, LawDepot has no obligation to refund renewals, unless you notify the cancellation before your renewal date.

It's easy to miss the date, so be careful here or you could get caught out like lots of other unsuspecting customers.

Here's a link to cancel your LawDepot subscription:

https://www.lawdepot.com/cancel/signin.php If you take the 1 Year Pro Subscription at $4.99/month, prepaid for one year, LawDepot is good value, in our opinion.

LawDepot Ease of Use

We like how easy it is to create & edit a Residential Sublet Agreement Form using LawDepot's wizard. Simply fill in a form and your answers will magically appear in the document 👍

You can see the Residential Sublet Agreement Form before you complete your purchase, so you know in advance what you are buying. You can even download a full free version during the 7 day free trial period.

We find that the most convenient document format is Microsoft Word, because it's easily editable. But, unfortunately LawDepot only provides the Residential Sublet Agreement Form in locked PDF format 👎

More About LawDepot

Individuals, as well as small business operators, will find LawDepot a useful service for creating online legal templates.

It's not all dry, verbose text anymore. LawDepot has been around for a long time (since 2001) and keeps "up-ing" their game. They claim to have serviced over 10 million users.
